Standing Didactics Requirements for License Renewal

PHARMACIST

Completed a minimum of xl (twoscore) contact hours of continuing education credit in approved programs, which shall include at least

Two (2) hours in Human being Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) training

Two (2) hours in medication/dispensing error training during the two (2) yr menstruum preceding the engagement the license expires.

Two (ii) hours of continuing pedagogy on cultural competency or specialized clinical training focusing on patients or clients who place as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, queer, or question their sexual orientation or gender identity and expression ("LGBTQ")

Delight annotation that the requirement of ten (x) live standing education credits for pharmacist licensure renewal will be waived for the March ane, 2019-February 28, 2021 renewal cycle.

VACCINATION AND IMMUNIZATION AGENT:

In accordance with subsection 6512.three of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations for Pharmacists:Two (2) hours of standing education credit relevant to the administration of immunizations and vaccinations.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN:

Complete a minimum of 20 contact hours of CE credits during the ii years preceding the date the registration expires.

Two (2) hours in Pharmacy Law

2 (ii) hours in medication condom

2 (2) hours of continuing instruction on cultural competency or specialized clinical training focusing on patients or clients who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, queer, or question their sexual orientation or gender identity and expression ("LGBTQ")
